Concord Eastridge formed Summa West, a partnership with Education Realty Trust, to develop this urban, mixed-use, residential complex supporting Downtown Phoenix, Arizona State University’s Downtown Campus and The University of Arizona’s College of Medicine at the Phoenix Biomedical Campus. The Summa West team is a nationally recognized leader in public/private and mixed-use real estate development associated with universities and colleges. The 350,000 GSF urban development provided 609 new beds in 326 units.

The program also included a 433-stall garage, two resort-style pools, workout facilities and 7,500 GSF of street-level retail space. The leasing model is a mix of market-rate and student housing units. The project was a catalyst for new development in the burgeoning Roosevelt Row neighborhood and serves as a gateway to the Arts and Entertainment Districts.
